VOX – Shopify store redesign, on brand

Summary

The VOX store for the UAE market ran on an old Shopify front end that had drifted away from the brand. We rebuilt the storefront so it looks and behaves like the official vox.pl site – on a lightweight Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS stack.

Bring the Shopify store up to the quality of the official VOX site and align it with the brand – on a modern, lightweight stack.

Challenge

The VOX store for the UAE market (voxfurniture.ae), run by the brand's regional distributor, was built on an old Shopify front end that looked and felt far below the official, modern VOX site (vox.pl). The storefront was heavy: too many scripts, slow loading and a poor score on mobile – exactly where most of the traffic is. The client needed a store that looks and works like the flagship VOX, while staying fast and easy to maintain.

Solution

We rebuilt the Shopify storefront visually and technically – end to end on our side. We reproduced the visual language of the official VOX site and put the storefront on a lightweight Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS stack, cutting the performance ballast hard.

Redesign aligned with the VOX brand

We rebuilt the Shopify front end so it looks and behaves like the official vox.pl site – matching typography, layouts and components (hero, category listings, product pages).

Modern stack: Alpine.js + Tailwind CSS

We replaced the heavy, outdated theme code with a lightweight front end on Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS – easier to maintain and to build on.

Performance optimisation

We cut the number of loaded scripts by 95% and halved load time, lifting the mobile Lighthouse score by 30 points.
