Challenge

System 3D is a niche but respected distributor of specialist machining and industrial metrology parts – with a catalogue of prestigious brands (Renishaw, Heidenhain, Mitutoyo, Hexagon, Haimer). The store came to us from a previous vendor in a neglected state: layers of technical debt that made development hard and raised the risk of outages. The challenge was to take over a B2B platform like this, clean it up and get it stable – without pausing sales in the channel the business runs on.

Solution

We took the store over from the previous vendor, mapped the technical debt and cleaned up the code, bringing the B2B platform back to stability. We got control of it back, so it can be developed safely again.
